Nga Kaitiaki O Te Taonga (1858 Letter of Request from Queen Victoria) to “every person of Maori
descent”

We have heard the korero, or viewed and understood the information on the website, as regards
the Sovereign to Sovereign Correspondence (1835-2004), that we as Mokopuna can claim. We are
in agreement with all that has transpired and fully support the Declaration of Independence 28
October 2004, which reaffirms our lawful sovereign status in our sovereign indigenous homeland,
Tiritiri-O-Te-Moana, (Aotearoa, New Zealand), and originally announced to the world in the
Founding Document the Declaration of Independence 28 October 1835.

We as a Whanau Hapu ……………………………………………......have met and chosen our person to
represent us, as Mokopuna, on the Sovereign Council of Mokopuna, which we understand when
fully resourced, will oversee all government departments and agencies to ensure strict adherence
with Tikanga/Immutable Divine Law, in all structures, processes and practices.

Our chosen person …………………………………………………. …………., is fully aware that he/she has a
sovereign responsibility to be true, honour, and be accountable to the Mokopuna past, present and
yet unborn; and will publicly swear an OATH OF ALLEGIANCE, to serve as Mokopuna, ALL
Mokopuna to the nth degree of his/her being.

OPTIONAL: Attached is a list of names and signatures of persons post-puberty, who wish to claim
their own sovereignty, Mokopuna; on Te Waka O Nga Mokopuna Ki Aotearoa. (We have included
any person sovereign being in his/her own right, without prejudice. )

Correspondence (1835-2004) which we as Mokopuna of Maori descent can claim, or we of non-
Maori descent wish to acknowledge. (Please indicate if non-Maori descent with "A")

We are in agreement with all that has transpired and fully support the Declarations of
Independence 28 October 1835 and 2004, the true N.Z. Flag, the lawful sovereign status of Maori
in their sovereign indigenous homelands of Tiritiri-O-Te-Moana, (Aotearoa, New Zealand), the
sovereign authority including responsibilities implicit in that, and the promise to care for the pakeha
who choose to trade or live here with us under Tikanga/Immutable Divine Law.
